Compagnie Reina Gisèle is a contemporary theatre company founded in 2021 in Annecy. It was created by three friends with a shared passion for theatre: Baptiste Péron, Quentin Moenne Loccoz and Léa Corbex.
The company, under the artistic direction of Léa Corbex, is dedicated to exploring contemporary issues such as migration, identity and intercultural dynamics. Its productions — including "Ma peau est faite de cuir" (2022) and "Tel le fleuve rencontre la mer" (2024) — are built on choral and multilingual writing, fostering an accessible approach that welcomes diverse audiences.
Alongside its productions, the company runs mediation and outreach programmes — including workshops with unaccompanied minors, incarcerated youth, and theatre training courses — reflecting its commitment to bringing together artistic creation and social and educational engagement for all audiences. The company explores recurring themes: migration and exile, plural identities, memory and transmission, solidarity and human connection, all aimed at questioning the contemporary world and fostering dialogue between cultures. And then, of course, the importance of encounters. We are delighted to discover all kinds of audiences and life journeys that enrich us as both people and artists.
